
Drs. Mike Betler and Anu Kurra are a husband and wife team of plant-based physicians who are devoted to responsible medicine.
Dr Betler's passion is performing osteopathic manipulation to quickly and effectively realign the body to optimal positioning. He has used OMT on inpatients and outpatients alike to improve posture and musculoskeletal health, resolving pain due to poor alignment or muscle spasm. He treats migraines, sinus issues, irritable bowel syndrome, and many other conditions. He is also board certified in lifestyle medicine and has been working in longevity and optimized wellness for Marek Health. He brings this knowledge to the practice to help patients become their best self. Dr. Betler is also a general surgeon and travels to underserved US hospitals for a few days a month to provide emergency care.
Dr. Kurra is a local rehabilitation medicine (physiatry) specialist. Her love for hands-on treatments paired with her desire to keep people active and mobile as they age, brought her to CT Sports Recovery. She focuses on holistic treatments and lifestyle counseling to solve musculoskeletal problems.

Rashawn is a former Division II athlete and NFL hopeful, whose journey has been marked by both triumphs and setbacks. After a standout high school career as a three-sport athlete, Rashawn continued his athletic pursuits at Post University. However, before transferring, a series of undermining knee injuries, including an ACL tear, forced him to sideline his playing career. But even after three knee surgeries, he remained committed to his passion for fitness and sports performance.
Now, with a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of high-performance athletics, Rashawn is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals. As a personal trainer and an advocate of a healthy plant-based diet, he combines his knowledge of exercise science with a holistic approach to health and well-being. By focusing on building a strong mental foundation, he empowers clients to overcome challenges, and strongly believes that after developing discipline and resilience, anyone can unlock their full potential.

Rochelle has been treating patients for over 25 years. Trained both in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) and Japanese style acupuncture, she might incorporate, electric-stimulation, cupping, herbal lineaments, medical massage, gua sha, infared heat, and other modalities. Upon graduating from massage school she did additional training to become a certified AMMA therapist, which led her to learning acupuncture. AMMA is based upon the same principles as acupuncture, but without needles. Additionally she has become certified in acupuncture for Orthopedics pain management, auricular (ear), infertility, facial rejuvenation, and more. She graduated from New York College for Wholistic Health, Education, & Research with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences, and a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. Upon graduating, she travelled to China to do extensive clinical training abroad at Guangzhou TCM University in Guangzhou, China. Assisting and learning from doctors of Chinese medicine who were masters, treating numerous medical conditions. Additionally she studied with the renowned teacher Jeffrey Yuen for a year of Chinese Herbal Medicine which began her studies in herbal medicine. When not treating patients she enjoys working out, playing golf, and gardening.
