The Storz Duolith SD1 Ultra Radial Wave breaks up tense muscles and tendons and induces the body to create new blood flow, using acoustic waves to penetrate into muscle and connective tissue. The Focus Wave device emits ultrasonic waves to penetrate deep into injured or inflamed tissues, resulting in increased blood vessel growth to induce bone regeneration and speeds the body's healing mechanisms. What to Expect on Your Visit: This cutting-edge treatment protocol is non-invasive and safe, promoting faster recovery after bone, tendon, muscle, or ligamentous injury, and reducing pain associated with inflammation and arthritis. After evaluation by our trained and experienced providers, a customized plan will be created and implemented starting on the same visit. If you are unsure if this treatment is right for you, you can always book an insurance-based Musculoskeletal Evaluation first. The typical post-treatment restructuring period for your body is 1-3 months to fully renew its damaged tissues, so expect more healing after your treatment course is completed. A minimum of 3 treatments are needed for optimal benefit. The cost of this package includes 3 treatments for one area (i.e. low back, neck, shoulder, knee, etc). Bilateral or extra areas need a separate booking and will add to the cost of treatment. When possible, please provide at least 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations. Please note that insurance does not cover this procedure. If you wish to pay with HSA/FSA, please call the office to schedule your appointment, and payment will be accepted in-person at the time of your visit.
